Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

The Institute of Financial Planning’s (IFP) CPD scheme provides a framework through which members can maintain, update and develop their competence in the professional practice of Financial Planning. This ensures that members’ skills, knowledge and professionalism are up-to-date, and indicates to clients that they are dealing with a planner who is committed to maintaining the highest standards.

It is a condition of IFP membership that members meet the CPD scheme requirements on an annual basis. As part of the Retail Distribution Review, the Financial Services Authority (FSA) has now prescribed a minimum of 35 hours of CPD per annum, 21 of which must be structured CPD.

M&G Investments are an approved IFP CPD provider, and by attending our webcasts you can claim CPD points. To claim your points you must first register and/or log in, and once you have viewed the webcast from beginning to end the CPD link will be enabled.
